Brenda Mage's message to bashers following his 'goodbye showbiz' announcement

Comedian Brenda Mage recently addressed insinuations as to why he bade showbiz adieu.

On Facebook, he uploaded a video with the caption: "Miserable na po ang Buhay ko kaya umalis ako sa SHOWBIZ (smiley face emoji)."

He said in the first part of the video: “Hello sa lahat ng mga bashers diyan. Oh my God ang dami kong nababasa sa mga post ko na kaya ako umuwi ng probinsya at nag-quit sa showbiz because of sa lahat ng mga pinakita kong kamalditahan sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya at buti nga sa akin at natanggal ako sa showbiz kasi nga nahihirapan ako sa buhay ko dahil sinuka na ako ng showbiz."

"Well, I have my friends here from Manila, nagbabakasyon kami dito. Kasi mas masaya pag totoo yung mga kasama ko... and with my family," he added.

According to him, he's now "fulfilled."

"Nakatambak yung mga gamit namin dito kasi alam niyo isang dekada na rin akong nag-ipon. Last ko na talaga yung pagpasok sa 'PBB.' That was my last dream na natupad at yun yung sinasabi niyong sumira sa akin at nasira ako, sinira ko yung sarili ko dun? Well okay na ako. Fulfilled na ako,” he pointed out.

Brenda declared he'll be focusing on building his home.

“Magpapatayo naman ako ng bahay para naman sa buhay ko. And thank you so much nga pala sa mga boto niyong BBE, at least (laughs), nakapagpagawa na ako ng bahay," he added in jest.

He then declared that its time for him "redeem" himself with "real" people.

"You don’t know anything about me and about everything. At sa lahat ng mga bashers, I know you’re happy (laughs). Kasi happy ako," Brenda teased.

"Thank you sa lahat ng mga opinions niyo, sa lahat ng mga comments niyo, sa mga sinasabi niyo. Well, opo, miserable na ang buhay ko dito sa probinsya, naghihirap na po ako. At tinanggal po ako... Gusto ko i-post lahat ng nag-me-message sa akin. Ang dami kong guestings, ang dami kong mga inayawan. Ang dami kong... Ayoko na magsalita kasi kailangan niyo yata i-prove pa yata. Well anyway, wala naman kayong alam... Sana happy kayo kasi happy ako.”
