Batangas Governor Hermilando Mandanas endorsed the senatorial candidacy of Nacionalista Party member and UniTeam Senate bet Mark Villar during a sortie in Lipa City, Batangas on Thursday, March 24.

Mandanas pledged his and the province’s support to the former Department of Public Works and Highways secretary.
“I am very grateful to Gov. Dodo Mandanas for all his support. Maraming salamat din po sa mga naniniwala sa atin. Ipagpapatuloy ko po ang magandang nasimulan ng ‘Build Build Build’ program at upang makapagbigay ng trabaho sa ating mga kababayan (Thank you also to those who believe in us. I will continue the ‘Build, Build, Build’ program in order to provide jobs to our countrymen),” Villar said during the sortie on March 24.
Villar's main electoral platform is the continuation of the Duterte administration’s ‘Build, Build, Build’ infrastructure initiative.
“Maraming salamat po sa suporta ng Lipeños sa aking kandidatura sa Senado. Nais ko din pong pasalamatan si Gov. Dodo Mandanas sa taos pusong pag endorso sa akin, nakakataba po ng puso. Kami po, kasama ang BBM-Sara UniTeam ay may adhikain na pagkakaisa (Thank you Lipeños for supporting my Senate candidacy. I want to thank Mandanas for wholeheartedly endorsing me. We, alongside the BBM-Sara UniTeam, have a goal of unity),” Villar said.
Alongside Villar at the Batangas sortie was fellow UniTeam Senate slate member Gilbert Teodoro and re-electionist Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste II.
Villar is running under the UniTeam banner led by presidential bet Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
