Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-NCR) and Quezon City Police District (QCPD) seized from three alleged drug dealers P340,000,000 worth of alleged shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) during a buy-bust on Mindanao Ave. in Brgy. Talipapa, Quezon City on Wednesday, March 23.
Police identified the suspects as Gibbrael Arcega, 32; Mikkael Argcega, 29, both residents of Brgy. Talipapa; and Ramil Ramos, 39.
The operation was conducted at around 10:30 a.m. at a gasoline station after the police received information about the suspects’ illegal drug trade.
Ramos was injured during the operation and was immediately brought to the nearest hospital.
The operatives recovered from the suspects 50 kilos of alleged shabu worth P340,000,000, a white van, a blue suitcase, and a .45-caliber revolver with two bullets.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
