#WomenEmpowerment! Yassi Pressman hoards handicrafts made by female inmates

Yassi Pressman recently visited the Female Dormitory of the Quezon City Jail.

In celebration of Women's month, she gave away shampoos and conditioners for 600 inmates there whom she described as "beautiful women who deserve a second chance."

She also bought all of the handcrafted bags and pillows they made.

"Para maramdaman naman nila na yung pinaghihirapan nila may magandang kapalit!," Yassi related.

According to her, the female inmates can use the money for their personal needs.

"Or (pwede) rin nila ishare sa pamilya nila dito sa labas (heart emoji)," she added. "Sana po kung bibili din po kayo ng bagong bag o regalo baka masilip nyo po yung mga gawa nila at makakatulong pa po tayo."
