Squid Game's Jung Ho Yeon lands her first Hollywood role

“Squid Game” star and Screen Actor’s Guild awardee Jung Ho Yeon is set to make her Hollywood debut opposite Cate Blanchett via the Apple TV series “Disclaimer.”

Apart from Cate Blanchett, it was reported by Deadline that the South Korean star will also be joined by ”Borat’s” Sacha Baron Cohen and multi-awarded film and theater actor Kevin Kline for the thriller series based on the bestselling novel written by Renee Knight.

Helming the series is the Academy Award winning director Alfono Cuaron, who previously won two Oscars for the films Gravity and Roma.

The series is reported to revolve around the character of Cate Blanchett, an accomplished television journalist who discovers a novel written about her. Jung Ho Yeon will play the role of an eager to please young professional who idolizes Blanchett’s character.
