There was no such thing as a Sunday rest day for the UniTeam tandem of presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos and his running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, which held a grand rally in Malabon on March 20.

In the same token, there was also no Sunday rest day for the city's UniTeam supporters, who not only showed up but also made their presence felt at the event.
Before the rally, the people of Malabon went out of their homes to welcome the Marcos and Duterte's caravan, which travelled from Dagat-Dagatan up to Potrero.
Speaking in front of a huge crowd at Pinagtipunan Circle, Lakas- Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) vice presidential candidate Duterte extended her gratitude for the warm welcome of the people.
“Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat dito sa Malabon sa oras at oportunidad na ibingay ninyo sa amin na makasama kayo, makilala kayo, at makapagbigay ng mensahe para sa inyong lahat (I thank all of you residents here in Malabon for giving us the time and opportunity to be with you, to get to know you, and to impart out message to all of you)” Duterte said.
Just like the lady mayor, Marcos also thanked the local folk, saying their support means they approve of his vision of unity for the country.
“Ang inyong mainit na pagtanggap sa UniTeam ay hindi lang po pahayag sa pagsuporta niyo sa akin, kay Inday Sara, at sa mga senador ng UniTeam, kung hindi kayo ay sang-ayon sa aking adbokasiya at hangarin ng pagkakaisa ng sambayanang Pilipino (Your warm acceptance of UniTeam is not just your show of support for me and Inday Sara, and to the senatorial candidates of UniTeam, but also to our advocacy and hopes of uniting the Filipino nation)," Marcos said.

“Tapat ang aming paniniwala na ang pagkakaisa ang pinakaunang hakbang para tayo’y makabalik sa mas magandang buhay (We firmly believe that unity is the first step toward our return to a prosperous life),” he added.
Members of the UniTeam Senate slate-- Sherwin Gatchalian, Loren Legarda, Mark Villar, Harry Roque, Dante Marcoleta, Robin Padilla and Gibo Teodoro also personally attended the rally. Former senator Jinggoy Estrada wasn't around but he was represented by his daughter Janella Estrada.
Actor and singer Randy Santiago together with comedian Brad Pete hosted the grand rally, with artists Andrew E and MYMP performing at the event.
