Back-to-back: Bettors from Manila, Albay bag multi-million peso lotto jackpot prizes

Two bettors won multi-million prizes during the lotto draws held last night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Monday, March 21, announced.

Sunday, March 20, was indeed a lucky day for two bettors from Luzon after their tickets correctly guessed the winning combinations for the Ultra Lotto 6/58 and Super Lotto 6/49.

PCSO, in an advisory, congratulated a lone bettor from the City of Manila in Metro Manila for winning the P79.6-million jackpot prize for Ultra Lotto 6/58. The winner correctly guessed the winning combination 29 - 05 - 03 - 11 - 08 - 42.

In a separate advisory, PCSO also congratulated a solo winner from Legaspi City in Albay for winning the P67.8-million jackpot for Super Lotto 6/49. The winner correctly guessed the winning combination 09 - 04 - 06 - 17 - 12 - 02.

The winners can claim their prizes at the PCSO main office located in Mandaluyong City. They need to bring the winning tickets along with two valid identification cards to claim their prizes.

Prizes that are above P10,000 will be subjected to 20 percent tax under the TRAIN Law, PCSO said.

Meanwhile, PCSO reminded that prizes that were not claimed within one year from the draw date will be considered “forfeited” based on Republic Act No. 1169.

Based on the summary of winners, there were 50 winners for the second prize who correctly guessed five out of the six-digit winning combinations in Ultra Lotto 6/58. The winners will receive P120,000 each.

In Super Lotto 6/49, the summary of winners showed that 76 bettors won second prize. Each of them will receive P50,000.
