Presidential aspirant Ping Lacson continues to gain the respect of other local personalities as broadcaster Anthony "Ka Tunying" Taberna vouched for the leadership skills of the senator.

In his vlog entry, Ka Tunying commented: "Kahit ako i-bash ninyo ako. Sasabihin ko , sa mga kandidato ngayon sa pagkapangulo, kung qualification ang pag-uusapan I think Senator Ping Lacson is the most qualified.

"Pagdating sa karanasan, magmula pa nung plebo hanggang sa ngayon. Siyempre baka magkaiba tayo ng opinyon doon," Taberna added.

In his recent interview session with Boy Abunda for the 2022 Presidential One-on-One Interviews, Lacson believes he is the most qualified presidential candidate.

“I am the most qualified, the most competent, the most experienced (candidate),” he told Abunda.

In his campaign sorties, Lacson has consistently said: "The number one problem is the government, so the solution is the government - good, honest governance,” he said. “Tough problems need tough solutions from the country’s top leaders."

Lacson also wins the respect of rival presidential aspirant Manny Pacquiao.

“Isa pong siguro malapit sa puso ko ay, sa akin lang, si Ping Lacson—kung sa akin lang ha. ‘Yon po ‘yung pananaw ko (Someone close to my heart, if it were up to me, is Ping Lacson—if it were up to me. That’s my point of view),’’ said Pacquiao, when asked who among his rivals would he cast his vote for if he did not pursue his presidential bid, in a statement issued by the camp of the boxing champ.
