ILOILO CITY -- More than a month after the start of Covid-19 vaccination for children ages five to 11-years-old in Western Visayas region, about 30,649 have been fully vaccinated.

Based on the data released by the Department of Health (DOH-6), the 30,649 fully vaccinated is 2.84 percent of the targeted 1,080,597 children.
So far, the province of Iloilo has the biggest number of fully vaccinated children ages five to 11-years-old with 10,417. Its initial target is 267,470.
Second is Negros Occidental province with 8,825 kids fully vaccinated. The province is aiming to vaccinate 363,249 kids.
Aklan ranks third with 2,590 fully vaccinated out of the target 84,356 kids in Aklan province
Capiz province has fully vaccinated 2,463 kids out of 102,122 targets.
Bacolod City has fully vaccinated 1,856 kids. It has a target of 81,737. About 1,790 kids out of 61,872 have been fully vaccinated in Iloilo City, while Antique province has fully vaccinated 1,609 kids. Its target is 95,437.
Guimaras province has fully vaccinated 1,099 kids which is just four percent of the 24,354 it hopes to vaccinate.
Meanwhile, 83,451 children across Western Visayas were able to get their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
