Nadia Montenegro terrified after mom lost P130,000 cash to seven people in three minutes

Actress Nadia Montenegro took to social media to report that her mom lost some P130,000 cash through ATM and credit cards in three minutes to seven people who stole her wallet inside a popular membership shopping club in Novaliches, Quezon City on Wednesday, March 2.

"Hi guys! I don't like doing this, but I'm very, very scared at the moment. My sister Tanya called me that my mom's wallet was stolen by seven people who entered as members," narrated Nadia on Instagram. She also uploaded the same video on TikTok.

"They called the banks to inform them about the ATMs inside her wallet. Ubos ang pera ng mommy ko. Her retirement pay, her money in Bank of America, her money in BDO. Everything gone in three minutes.

"Seven people approached my mom. My mom is a senior, and she was crying because she was terrified. They got P130,000 from my mom in three minutes," Nadia revealed. Her mother and sister Tanya were shopping when the incident happened, she said.

Police have responded to the scene of the crime to investigate upon the request of the actress.
