The University of Santo Tomas (UST) illuminated in yellow and blue on Wednesday night, March 2, to express support for the country, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Several buildings in UST, including the Main Building, Benavides Garden, Arch of the Centuries, and the UST Chapel lit up in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
"Our National Cultural Treasures are illuminated in blue and yellow tonight in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Ukraine," UST wrote on its Facebook page.
"May the hostilities end at the soonest possible time to prevent further bloodshed. We pray for peace as we begin the Season of Lent."
Earlier, De La Salle University's iconic St. La Salle Hall likewise displayed the colors of the Ukrainian flag to express their sympathy for the people of Ukraine.
