Kris Aquino now down to 85 pounds

Kris Aquino took to social media to update fans recently about her health.

At one point, she told fans: "In case magtatanong kayo, still just 85 pounds (38.5 kg)."

But she made clear she is managing well.

She related that her first Xolair injection was a "success."

"Meaning kinaya ko the full dose," she added.

Note that on their official website, the injectable prescription medicine is used to treat moderate to severe persistent asthma in people six years of age and older whose asthma symptoms are not well controlled with inhaled corticosteroids.

According to Kris, she's supposed to rest this week, then on March 13 she'll have her next shot.

She's praying nothing goes wrong in the coming days so she can finally go abroad for further treatment.

Kris went on to thank fans for their prayers and support.

"Thank you for being part of my road to wellness & hopefully better quality of life journey w/ me."
