MANAOAG, Pangasinan – A fire broke out at a poultry farm in Barangay Inamotan here on Tuesday night, March 1.
In a phone interview on Wednesday, March 2, Fire Senior Inspector Kinber-Ann Babasoro said the fire started at around 6 p.m.
She said the fire was raised to second alarm and was declared fire out at around 8:30 p.m.

The farm was mostly made of light materials that allowed the fire to spread fast.
“Wala pong poultry products ang nandoon. Pero base sa aming pakikipag-ugnayan sa caretaker, may mga papel na nasa loob ng poultry farm,” she said. (There were no poultry products in the farm but the caretaker said there were papers inside the pultry when the fire hit.)

As of this writing, the cause of the fire was not yet clear. Arson investigators are currently in the area to determine the cause of the fire.
The total cost of damage has yet to be determined.
