Fernando attributes province's Alert Level 1 downgrade to Bulakenyos' discipline
Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando hailed the discipline of Bulakenyos as a major factor in the downgrading of the province to Alert Level 1.
During a rice distribution program in Barangays Tuktukan and Ilang-Ilang in Guiguinto town on Tuesday, March 1, Fernando, however, warned that the country is still under a pandemic and everyone should continue following the minimum health protocols.
"Let us all pray that the cases of COVID-19 will continue to decrease," he urged Bulakenyos.
Fernando said the wearing of face masks is still required and the 100 percent capacity of private establishments and construction sites is now allowed based on vaccination requirements.
The 100 percent on-site workforce in all government offices is allowed but the off-site work arrangement is also authorized.
All transportation can now operate in full capacity, rendering the plastic or acrylic barriers, dividers, and the Stay Safe.ph.app optional.
Fernando was joined by Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) head Rowena Joson-Tiongson, Board member Alex Castro and village officials, in distributing hundreds of rice sacks to families in Guiguinto.
