Ukrainian actress killed during Russian rocket attack

Ukrainian actress Oksana Shvets was killed during a Russian shelling in Kyiv, according to a local theater group, on March 17.
On Facebook March 19, Young Theater posted: "Unreparable grief in the family of Young Theater. During the rocket shelling of a residential building in Kyiv a well-deserved artist of Ukraine Oksana Shvets was killed. Bright memory to the talented actress! There is no forgiveness for the enemy that has come to our land!"
Shvets is the second actor to be killed during Russia's attack in Ukraine in the past weeks.
Earlier in March, an Ukrainian actor who dubbed for Hollywood films was killed by shelling while defending his home country recently, according to the mirror.co.uk.
Actor and television host Pasha Lee, 33, joined the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine last week, in an effort to defend his country from invasion of Russian troops.
Lee’s death was confirmed by Sergiy Tomilenko, President of Ukraine’s National Union of Journalists.
“The National Association of Journalists of Ukraine express sincere condolences to Paul’s family and loved ones,” said Tomilenko.
Lee worked as a dubbing artist on movies such as The Lion King, Malibu rescuers and Hobbit, the mirror.co.uk reported.
On Saturday, Lee posted on Instagram: “For the last 48 hours there is an opportunity to sit down and take a picture of how we are being bombed, and we are smiling because we will manage and everything will be UKRAINE WE ARE WORKING !!!”
In a separate post, Lee wrote: “Let’s unite!”
Julia Ostrovsk, head of the UATV/DOM Platform, said Lee was the “most joyful and sunny” of the TV presenters working on the program.
