Lacson speaks from the heart: 'I want to continue serving our country'

Presidential candidate Senator Panfilo Lacaon said he wants to continue serving the country.

‘’Among all the Presidential aspirants —narito man o laging absent — walang sinuman kundi ako ang sadya at aktwal na nagsugal ng sariling buhay sa pagligtas sa panganib ng sinuman (--be it present here or always absent--) there is nobody else who actually gambled with his life to save anyone from harm),’’ Lacson said in his closing remarks at the conclusion of the first Commission on Elections (Comelec) presidential debate Saturday night, March 19.

Lacson was joined by eight other Palace bets in the May 2022 polls during the event.

The 10th presidential candidate--former Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.--opted not to attend the debate.

Lacson emphasized that It takes a leader who is competent, qualified, and experienced to turn the promises of unity- Bilis Aksyon, Angat Buhay into reality. Kailangan natin ng Pangulo na ha (Quick action, turn a stable life into reailty. We need a President).’’

In the government ladder, Lacson rose from being a soldier and later a law enforcer who fought terrorism, communist rebels, and criminals; as Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, he was able to force policemen to toe the line; and as a senator, he was never tainted with corruption.

"Nais ko pong ipagpatuloy na magsilbi sa ating bayan (I want to continue serving our country). Mabuhay ang Pilipinas (Long live the Philippines),’’ he added.
