Janno Gibbs notches a hit as 'President Gibbs'

Veteran actor-singer Janno Gibbs has been receiving huge amount of praise from netizens.

This, due to "BTS: PRESIDENT GIBBS HEADQUARTERS," a video he uploaded on YouTube via his own Janno Gibbs TV.

In it, seasoned star Leo Martinez plays the role of Congressman Manik Manaog, "senior advisor" to Janno's "presidente."

They are seen discussing a "viral" video, which Manik described as "'Yng pinagawa natin kay Daryl - yung bang Len-Len content..."

Janno asked Leo why it was mostly about their opponent.

"Hindi ba pwedeng gumawa naman kayo ng content na tungkol sa akin? tungkol sa mga accomplisments ko? Achievements?"

But Leo replied: "Bakit, may accomplishments ka ba? Ay, wala naman eh! Ano ba ang nagawa mo the past few years ha?"

Then Janno cited having been in several notable projects but "na-tsugi ako" and "na-shonggal ako eh."

"Edi hindi pa rin accomplishment yon," Leo reiterated. "Wala pa ren!"

So Janno mentioned the success of his father, seemingly referring to his real-life dad, Ronaldo Valdez.

"Ito, ang tatay ko napakaraming awards. Grandslam!," he said.

But Leo retorted: "Ay tatay mo iyon! Eh, ikaw? Ikaw mismo! May award ka ba? Ay wala naman eh! Oh!"

Leo also reminded Janno about attending debates.

"Oy, oy, oy, oy, oy! Pag sumali ka diyan eh mahahalatang bobo ka," he told Janno.

"Grabe siya?? Di naman ako bobo. Matalino ito no! Nag-masters nga ako sa Ateneo eh," he said in defense.

However, Leo quipped: "Alam naman natin lahat na peke iyon."

At the latter part, Leo called out Janno for drinking too much Coke.

He said: "President junior, masyado ka nang mag-Coke ah. Ay, di mo ba alam na masama sa katawan mo iyan! Aba! Masama ang sugar sa katawan mo. Ay sa dami ng sugar niyan ay para ka na ring, ah, suminghot ng isang boteng asukal. At tsaka mangingiwi ka pa diyan."

Janno was credited as writer and director of the clip.

Many netizens got the joke.

The video has since earned more than 140,000 views.
