Man killed, live-in partner wounded in Taguig shooting

A man was killed while his live-in partner was wounded when they were shot by two unidentified men inside their house in Taguig on March 17.

The shooting incident happened at about 10:45 p.m. in a house on Bagong Silang Street in Barangay Tuktukan, Taguig.

The Taguig police identified the victims as Richard Profitales, 27, and Shaira Marie Isip, 25.

A witness told the police that two unidentified men forcibly entered the house of the victims and shot them for no apparent reason.

Profitales sustained a gunshot wound that resulted in his immediate death while Isip was wounded in the right leg and was rushed to the Rizal Medical Center in Pasig for treatment.

After the shooting, the suspects immediately fled.

According to the police, Profitales was arrested in 2019 for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
