Malolos City Emergency Hospital soon to rise in Bulacan

Department of Health (DOH) officials and Mayor Gilbert "Bebong" Gatchalian led the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the first trauma hospital in Barangay Bulihan, City of Malolos, Bulacan, on Friday, March 18.

In a short program, Emily V. Paulino, Development Management Officer V of the DOH in Bulacan, said there is nothing impossible if everyone is united for a good cause.

Paulino said the City of Malolos could expect the support and guidance of the DOH in giving health services to the people.

"Ngayong mayroon na kayong sariling hospital at nasa highway sa loob ng Malolos City government, siguraduhin lang po ninyo na lahat ng pasyenteng pupunta dito ay tatanggapin kahit na taga ibang LGU ((Now that you have your own hospital near the highway within the City of Malolos government, make sure to admit all patients even from other LGUs)," Paulino said.

Meanwhile, Mayor Gatchalian expressed his gratitude to the DOH for their immediate response and support.

The mayor assured that the P30-million Malolos Emergency Hospital will take care of all patients who would be admitted to the facility.
