Ronald Tubid is making a comeback after being listed in Terrafirma’s roster for the fourth leg of the PBA 3x3 second conference.

The 40-year-old, who currently acts as team manager of the Dyip's standard 5-of-5 squad, will join Dhon Reverente, Terrence Tumalip and Jeremiah Taladua for the upcoming phase slated this weekend at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Tubid played 16 PBA seasons for Shell, Air21, Barangay Ginebra, Barako Bull, Kia/Columbian and twice with San Miguel Beer, which was his last appearance back in 2019.

He would become part of the Terrafirma coaching staff before being elevated to the role of team manager.

Age hardly matters in the PBA’s halfcourt competition, with some players aged late-30s seeing action since the first conference.

Cavitex has 39-year-old Larry Fonacier while 37-year-old Ken Bono helped San Miguel win this conference’s Leg 2.

Terrafirma is coming off a fourth place finish in Leg 3 with Reverente, Tumalip, Taladua and Jebb Bulawan.

Reverente, Tumalip, Taladua and Bulawan almost reached the finals but fell short against TNT in the semis before bowing to Meralco in a battle for third place.
