Fair, warm weather all over PH due to easterlies – PAGASA
A generally fair and warm weather condition is expected to prevail in the Philippines due to the easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Thursday, March 17.

Easterlies or the warm and humid winds from the Pacific Ocean affects the country, said PAGASA.
“Bukod sa mainit at magandang panahon ang mararanasan sa buong bansa ay may tiyansa po ng localized thunderstorms kadalasan sa hapon o gabi (Apart from the warm and fair weather that will be experienced throughout the country, there is a chance of localized thunderstorms that usually occur in the afternoon or evening),” said PAGASA weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio in a public weather forecast.
Aurelio likewise advised the public to avoid unnecessary and direct exposure to sunlight to avoid dehydration and heat stroke.
The State weather bureau declared the onset of the dry season in the country on Wednesday, March 16.
Meanwhile, no low pressure area (LPA) or tropical cyclone is expected to affect nor develop in the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) within the forecast period.
