BACOLOD CITY - A man and a woman were arrested in separate buy-bust operations here that led to the recovery of a total of P421,600 worth of suspected shabu in the past two days.

On Wednesday 46-year old Jay Lucasan was arrested by operatives in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 4. The suspect allegedly yielded 47 grams of suspected shabu worth P319,600.
According to Police Lt. Joeven Mogato, head of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), Lucasan was previously jailed for a drug offense but the case was dismissed two years ago as the policeman who handled the case was no longer active in the police service.
Mogato said that Lucasan is a street level individual, who allegedly repacks the contraband being delivered to him.
Last Tuesday, Michelle De Asis, 36, of Barangay 27 was arrested in Barangay Alijis, with the authorities recovering about 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000.
Maj. Ritchie Gohee, head of Police Station 4, said De Asis was busted by the operatives at her rented house. De Asis is also considered a street level individual, according to the police.
Drug charges are being readied against the two individuals.
These drug bust operations came a week after the city police force seized P3.8 million worth of suspected shabu in separate drug bust operations here.
