Robin Padilla reacts to Mariel Rodriguez selling items for his senatorial bid

Ever the supportive wife, Mariel Rodriguez took to selling some of her and her family's stuff, recently.

This, to help finance her husband Robin Padilla's senatorial bid.

It was a success, with millions from here and abroad participating.

Robin was in disbelief.

On Facebook, the senatorial aspirant teased his wife about it, flooding the comment section of the video she posted.

He wrote:

"Unbelievable."

"Hindi talaga ako makapaniwala na ginagawa mo ito."

"Babe Hindi ako makapaniwala na ginagawa mo ito ngayon. Nakakuadro ang mga gamit mo na yan. Mas nahihimas mo pa nga sa akin ang mga bag at sapatos mo."

"Yehey isang positibong epekto ng pagkandidato ko."

"Mabigatan na yan ah pati mga nasa baul lumalabas na. Ano ba yan babe pang tv ad ba yan."

"Babe Gastos pala sa kampanya ang solusyon para lumuwag ang dressing room mo."

"My goodness babe. Ang mga memories natin na sinasabi mo andyan sa mga bag na yan. Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures."

Meanwhile, Mariel replied in jest: "Baka di kaya tv ad babe... pang tarp."

Many of their celebrity friends showed their support, including Bela Padilla who even posted on her Instagram story: "Watching you from Zurich ate @marielpadilla super saya parang may kasama ko kahit wala talaga."

TV hosts Bianca Gonzalez and Amy Perez were also spotted leaving comments during the live video.

Bianca wrote: "YOUR ENERGY!!! Iba ka Ma!!!!!"'
