Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano has called on the city residents to get their booster shot against Covid-19.
Rubiano made the call after the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU) led by Miko Llorca reported on March 14 that the city’s active cases were down to two.
She said the two patients were asymptomatic and are now both confined and being monitored by doctors in their isolation facility.
Rubiano said 13 health centers in the city are now offering AstraZeneca booster shots.
She said a total of 75,559 residents have already received their booster shot.
The mayor added that those who got their second Covid-19 vaccine dose three months ago can now get their booster shot.
Rubiano said based on the March 15 record, a total of 743, 691 vaccines were deployed for the eligible population.
