Mariel Rodriguez a huge hit as online seller

Who would've thought actress-TV host Mariel Rodriguez has what it takes to be an online seller?

Well, she proved so Tuesday night using Instagram and Facebook as platforms.

Her efforts went on for almost four hours from 9 p.m. to around 12: 30 in the morning, with millions tuning in.

Many of them loved Mariel's high energy.

Some liked her "bagsak presyo" deals with some items selling at 90 % off.

According to Mariel, she did so "pikit mata."

Note that Mariel even offered "free shipping" nationwide for her customers.

She also catered to buyers from beyond the country.

Mariel also earned plus points from customers giving away free chocolates or noodles from time to time.

Aside from her and her children's pre-loved items, Mariel also sold brand new luxury bags and shoes. Some were even limited edition pieces.

In the end, Mariel admitted it was not an easy undertaking.

"Mahirap pala maging online seller, kakapaos," she said.

She then penned an appreciation post to supporters.

"Thank you soooooooooo much!!!! Big big big big thanks to everyone who participated in last night’s live selling!!! So happy because nagustuhan niyo ang bagsak presyo items from my hoarding days. thank you!!!! Apologies because it was so hard for me because ang daming comments I couldn’t read all. Hopefully i can find more items here hahaha and we will have a part 2 because i know may maibubuga pa ako. in the meantime i ask for your patience because my team is currently answering all your messages. Pls bear with us!!! Suuuuuuuuper thanks!!!"
