HoYeon Jung channels Old Hollywood glamor at Critics' Choice Awards

“Squid Games” star HoYeon Jung serves yet another spectacular red carpet moment as she attends the 2022 Critics' Choice Awards wearing an ensemble by French high-end luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton.

An ode to Old Hollywood glamor, Jung dons a piece from the brand’s spring 2022 ready-to-wear collection designed by creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, where historical opulence meets contemporary dressing. The fashion show presented at the Lourve last October was also attended by climate activists, one of which crashed the runway.

Back to the red carpet look, the model-turned-actress puts on a loose gilded bustle dress giving a ‘20s charm with its sparkling embroidery and crystal details. She completes the look with a pair of back sandals and adornments from the brand’s high jewelry collection.

Moments later, Louis Vuitton shared on social media a video dubbed “A Sense of Wonder,” featuring its conversation with Jung as she “shares her journey through fashion, cinema and her relationship with two industries that have come to define her as one of today’s most exciting young rising stars.”

“I was a model for LV,” the actress said. “It is amazing that I met them again as an actress now, and then now, I’m an ambassador. I think it is kind of a new chapter. It’s like being in a fairy tale.”
