Woman dies after being hit by motorcycle in Intramuros

A 45-year-old woman died after being hit by a motorcycle along the southbound lane of Mel Lopez Boulevard in Intramuros, Manila on Sunday, March 13.

According to the Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit (MDTEU) report, the victim, Rodella Litaw, a resident of Intramuros, was crossing the street when the motorcycle hit her.

The victim was rushed to the Ospital ng Maynila, where she died at around 3:23 p.m. due to head and body injuries.

Police said the motorcycle driver, identified as Jun Rey Domingo Arguiles, 30, of Pulang Lupa, Las Piñas City, will be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
