Police arrest father for raping 4-yr old daughter

NUEVA VIZCAYA -- Diadi police on Monday reported the arrest of a man for allegedly repeatedly raping his 4-year old daughter sometime in 2013.

The suspect was identified as Armando Kimmayong, 58, and resident of Brgy. Ampakleng, Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya. He was arrested following a manhunt operation in Brgy Progreso, Aglipay, Quirino.

The warrant of arrest was issued by Hon. Judge Rogelio P. Corpuz, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 29 in Bayombong.

PNP said the accused allegedly took advantage of the innocence of his 4-year old daughter and raped her on eight occasions in 2013.

No bail has been recommended for the accused who is still under the custody of PNP Nueva Vizcaya for prior booking before the turn-over to Court Origin.

The arrest was the result of Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2) intervention to resolve cases of rape and other Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) in relation to the Women's Month Celebration.
