Ronnie Liang promoted to 1st lieutenant

Singer Ronnie Liang recently shared with fans another milestone in his life.

On his social media account, he proudly shared that he got promoted "From 2nd Lieutenant to 1st Lieutenant of the Philippine Army (Reservist)."

He also posted a photo relating the same.

"Donning my Rank, as a 1ST Lieutenant, no less than by Hon. Secretary Hermogenes Esperon, National Security Adviser, & Lt. Gen Romeo Brawner Jr., Commanding General Philippine Army (CGPA)."

According to him, service is putting the interest of others before his own without expecting anything in return.

He related that being a Reservist is a "humbling" and "life-changing" experience for him.

"As a citizen, it is our duty to love and serve our country, to help our countrymen, with the best of our ability, and to promote volunteerism, service, and peace," he said.

Ronnie has been a reservist since 2020.

Currently, he is inching his way towards earning his master's degree in National Security and Administration.
