Heavy rains cause UniTeam concert-rally cancelation

The UniTeam grand rally-slash-concert in Parañaque City had to be called off early Saturday night, March 12 because of heavy rains.

Benhur Abalos, campaign manager of presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos, told reporters on the open ground on Aseana Branca Avenue that the concert was being cancelled due to the weather roughly an hour after it began at 5 p.m.

Marcos and his running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte had just reached the location when the decision to suspend the event was made.

The sudden downpour caused the concert attendees to scurry toward places where there were shelter.
