1,000 PDLs in QC vaccinated against Covid-19

Around 1,000 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) in the Quezon City Jail received their Covid-19 jabs on Saturday, March 12.

In a GMA News report, QC Jail Supt. Michelle Bonto said that 903 PDLs got their Astrazeneca booster shots, while 219 new inmates were also vaccinated. They were given hygiene kits after their vaccination.

Bonto added that 93.68 percent of the 3,530 total number of PDLs in the city jail are already vaccinated against the coronavirus disease.

The report said the city jail recorded no new Covid-19 cases as all individuals undergo thorough inspections before entering the facility.
