Rey 'PJ' Abellana on Carla-Tom issue: 'Ang pangyayari one night stand'

A bit of light was shed on the issue hounding estranged couple Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez.

It came courtesy of Carla's father, Rey "PJ" Abellana.

In an interview with Cristy Fermin, the veteran actor admitted all is not well with her daughter and Tom.

The reason he said, is not a so-called third party on the part of Tom as alleged.

He said: "Hindi po natin maku-consider na third party...Ang pangyayari one night stand."

Rey didn't provide details.

He made clear: "Hindi ko po sinasabi na hiwalay na ang dalawa... very unusual ang sitwasyon...pero nakiusap na po sa akin ang anak ko na hayaan daw muna sila to settle the issue by themselves."

Note Rey didn't only reach out to Tom.

He also tried to get the side of his daughter.

She simply told him: “Tom and I now are not okay...”
