PCEC urges members to participate in 'Bayanihan Bakunahan'

Members of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC) were urged to participate in the national vaccination days of the government.

"PCEC encourages our member denominations, local churches, and para-church organizations to voluntarily participate in Bayanihan Bakunahan IV or the National Vaccination Days on March 10 to 12, 2022," PCEC National Director Bishop Noel Pantoja said in a statement.

He said this is to help decrease the number of Covid-19 cases in the country.

"We reiterate our previous statement of support for the Covid-19 vaccination for eligible and willing members of our society," said Pantoja.

"Let us take heed and respond properly to the call of the Government through the Department of Health to achieve the decrease in Covid-19 cases, as we recover as one nation," he added.

PCEC is the largest network of evangelical denominations, local churches, missions group and parachurch organization in the Philippines.
