One of Manila Bulletin’s Ten Most Fashionable TV News Anchors in 2020 and Thrillmaker Columnist Joee Guilas has upped his fashion score a notch after joining the People’s Television Network’s regular morning show, “Rise and Shine Pilipinas” (RSP), attending to daily hosting duties in stylish ensembles provided for him by Mango Man.
Often seen at night in the government station’s late night English newscast, PTV News Tonight, looking smart and dapper in tailored business suits, Guilas is given a fresh new look for his morning show get-ups by the international clothing line.

“While I still get to do the news for RSP, I think the brand wanted to provide me with a more youthful, energetic and dynamic vibe for the program since the show is supposed to help brighten up people’s moods as they welcome each new day,” Guilas says.
Mango BGC Stylist George Robie shares how he planned on giving the news anchor a different look for his morning show appearances: “I checked on his social media accounts and noted kung anu-ano ang mga hindi niya sinusuot. I realized that his clothes were mostly suits. Mostly dark and solid colors. First time I saw him, he was, in fact, wearing a standard black shirt. So I said, bibigyan ko siya ng prints with splashes of different colors.” More than that, he also talked to Guilas to chech out on how he is off-camera.
“He is warm, funny and very relatable. It also helps na madaling damitan yung kanyang body type. He can easily pull off different looks,” he adds.
