Fire hits residential area in Barangay Commonwealth, QC

A fire broke out in a residential area on Halamanan Street in Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City, on Friday morning.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Public Information Office, the fire reached the first alarm at around 6:41 a.m. and second alarm at around 7:09 a.m.

Fire was declared under control at around 8:03 a.m. and was extinguished at around 9:01 a.m.

Over 200 houses were damaged by the blaze and around 350 families affected.

Investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
