The Random Manual Audit Committee (RMAC), through the Commission on Elections (Comelec), will conduct the source code review for the automated random selection program starting this month.

In a Facebook post, the Legal Network for Truthful Elections (Lente) said the review will start on March 28 until April 8.
It said registered political parties and accredited citizens' arm groups interested in conducting a source code review may submit their letter of intent (LOI)via email at [email protected] by or before March 18.
The LOI should state the following: the methodologies to be utilized, names of two representatives, contact details, and preferred date within March 28 until April 8.
"Each registered political party or accredited citizens' arm group that conducted a source code review shall submit a report to the RMAC within 10 days from completion of the review period," Lente said.
Lente, together with Comelec, and other groups will be conducting the Random Manual Audit starting May 12.
The Random Manual Audit is mandated by law under Section 29 of the Poll Automation Law. It is the process of determining the accuracy of the results of the automated election system for the National and Local elections in the country.
