Operatives of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) seized from three drug suspects P340,000 worth of alleged shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) during a buy-bust in Brgy. Greater Fairview, Quezon City on Thursday, March 10.
Police identified the suspects as Melvin Bamba, also known as “Bondat,” 44; Joel Parago, 43; and Gemma Importante, 46, all residents of Brgy. Greater Fairview.
The operation was conducted at around 1 a.m. on Lilac St. after the police received information about the suspects’ illegal drug trade.
The operatives recovered from the suspects 50 grams of alleged shabu worth P340,000, a .32-caliber revolver with six bullets, a cellular phone, and the boodle money used in the entrapment.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
