New scents to try—for you and your home

When I first heard of this collaboration, it immediately brought a smile to my face. It involves two of the more creative, and two of the nicer people, you’ll encounter in the worlds of fashion, fragrance, and lifestyle. 

Francis Libiran has been a standout Fashion Designer for more than two decades now, and his wearable artistry now sees him expanding beyond apparel, to include home accessories. From art deco patterns to Linear Art styles, we’ve watched Francis mature, grow, and diversify through the years, with travel, nature, and architecture serving as inspirations. 

Oscar Mejia III I’ve met time and again in the Artisanal fairs that would crop up with regularity pre-pandemic, and I loved how he had seriously taken to his craft, having been formally trained in perfume production in Paris & Grasse. Equally admirable is how he strives to create artisanal scents that are native to our country, and bringing them to the attention of the global market.

Together, they’ve come up with the Francis Libiran Perfumes collection by Oscar Mejia III. And it speaks of calm and ambient living as it utilizes scents and fragrances to enhance moods and the atmosphere of your sanctuary and your home. Whether to kickstart the day with the scent ‘Dawn’, or to cool things down in the evening with the fragrance "Dusk," there’s something about these distinct olfactory notes that make them perfect companions to our homes.

With Dawn or Dusk, you’re offered the option of a soy perfume candle, an anti-bacterial room and linen perfume spray, or the perfume reed diffuser. Either option carries the exacting standards that both Libiran and Mejia have made pillars of their artistry and reputations.

With Dawn, the top olfactory notes of pomelo and olive are enclosed with a middle note of sampaguita, and a base of patchouli. Dusk is composed of a head of bamboo white tea, chamomile and rose, wrapped in the warmth of musk and amber.
