Two Chinese drug suspects were arrested by law enforcers while P20.4 million worth of methampethamine hydrochloride or "shabu" were allegedly seized from them in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City Wednesday night, March 9.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) identified the suspects as Shiliang Zeng, 49; and Jack Lee, 44. Both of them were considered as high-value targets of PDEA.
According to an initial report, the suspects were collared in their hotel unit in Barangay E. Rodriguez around 11:30 p.m.
The PDEA said that the suspects allegedly sold illegal drugs to an undercover agent, prompting law enforcers to effect the arrest.
Seized from the suspects were around three kilos of shabu, two cellular phones, assorted documents, IDs, and a P1,000 bill placed on top of the boodle money.
Zeng and Lee face charges for violation of Sections 5 (selling of illegal drugs) and 11 (possession of illegal drugs) of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Earlier, PDEA Director General Wilkins Villanueva reported that anti-narcotics authorities had confiscated P1.57 billion worth of shabu from March 1 to 8.
He stressed that illegal drug operations will continue as long as there are drug addicts in the country.
