In preparation for the return to face-to-face classes, the San Juan City local government inaugurated on Tuesday, March 1, the newest school building and 2-storey multipurpose hall with covered court in one of its schools.

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, together with members of the local government, led the inauguration of Kabayanan Elementary School's newest school building and multipurpose hall with wooden covered court as it anticipates the return of students to schools amid the new normal.

According to Zamora, the 4-storey, 12 classroom building, and the 2-storey multipurpose hall with wooden covered court have a project allocation cost of P24 million and P37 million, respectively.
He assured that the city government will continue to build more classrooms and school facilities to further improve the quality of education of its learners.
San Juan reopened its limited face-to-face classes on Feb. 10.
