The Po family’s Century Pacific Group Inc. is making its first foray into the affordable and best-value real estate segment through its new real estate arm Pacifica Homes Development Corporation (PHDC).
In a statement, PHDC said it has formally launched its first property development in Magalang, Pampanga. The firm got its license to sell as it launched the model units.

PHDC President Teodoro Alexander T. Po said this is the company’s answer to the Philippine housing backlog, which is expected to hit 6.8 million units this year, according to data gathered from the Congressional Policy and Budget Research Department.
“PHDC’s very first project here in Pampanga will not only help lessen the gap due to the huge housing backlog, but it would for sure set the bar in the affordable but superior value housing segment,” said Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Region 3 OIC Director Atty. Felix V. Brazil Jr.
He added that, it is high-time that superior housing products and quality shelters inspired by sustainability are served affordably to customers.
“The release of our permits to build as well as sell will allow us to fast-track key developments in the project,” said Po.
PHDC’s license to sell permits also coincided with the release of its building permit from the municipality of Magalang.
Thus, the building activities for housing units at Hamana Homes Magalang, Pampanga are now set for full-blast construction.
Its amenities, which include a clubhouse, swimming pool, linear parks and basketball court will soon follow for homeowners to enjoy.
“It is truly value for money because our project taps sustainable building design and construction techniques, yet is priced within reach,” Po said.
According to Po, PHDC’s new residential development will provide affordable superior value homes that offer both practical and tasteful living to answer the changing and discriminating needs of the modern Filipino families.
PHDC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Century Pacific Group Inc., one of the Philippines’ largest consumer-focused companies. The Po family also controls high-end property developer Arthaland Corporation.
