Las Pinas LGU gets mark of recognition from RPOC-NCR

The Las Pinas City government received the Mark of Recognition from the Regional Peace and Order Council-National Capital Region (RPOC-NCR) for its exemplary efforts to secure peace and order and public safety on Feb. 9.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar personally received the recognition awarded by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and RPOC-NCR head secretariat Maria Lourdes Agustin at the Las Pinas Mayor's Office.

Aguilar said the city government implemented various measures to ensure peace and order including public safety in the city.

She said the measures on peace and order and public safety being implemented in the city are for the benefit of its residents.

The mayor also thanked Paranaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez, chairman of the RPOC-NCR, and vice- chairperson, Gen. Vicente Danao for the recognition.

Aguilar vowed that she would ensure to continue the peace and order and public safety for the city and give its residents better services.
