Here are the worst movies and on-screen performances of 2021, according to the Razzie's nominations
By John Legaspi
While people are raving about Kristen Stewart’s performance as Diana, Princess of Wales, in the movie “Spencer,” the same cannot be said on Netflix’s movie adaption of the Princess Diana Broadway musical, “Diana The Musical,” as it garnered multiple nominations at the Golden Raspberry Awards, commonly known as the Razzie Awards.

On Feb. 7, a day ahead of the 2022 Oscar nominations release, the Razzie Awards presented its nominees for the worst films and performances of 2021. Dominating its list is the musical film with nine nominations including Worst Picture, Worst Director, and the rest of the acting categories.
Another Netflix film making the list is “The Woman in the Window,” where star Amy Adams also got a Worst Actress nod. Warner Bros.’ “Space Jam” revival and the movie adaptation of stage musical “Dear Evan Hansen” are also up for Worst. Picture.
First held in March 1981, the Golden Raspberry Awards is co-founded by UCLA film graduates and film industry veterans John J. B. Wilson and Mo Murphy, and pretty much the opposite of the Oscars as it spotlights the less stellar movies and performances, and “encourages well-known filmmakers and top-notch performers to own their bad.”
