3 drug suspects nabbed in Cebu City buy bust

Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 8, three suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in Cebu City.

The alleged drug den maintainer, 34-year old Jurlit Sanchez, was the target of the operation. Two of her visitors Ulysses Redublado, 58, and Jose Brendo Claver, 49 were arrested at 1:45 p.m. in Barangay Day-as during the drug bust.

Members of the PDEA Regional Office VII Special Enforcement Team and Intelligence Section dismantled the drug den where five packs of suspected shabu weighing more or less 15 grams, assorted drug paraphernalia and buy-bust money were confiscated.

The arrested suspects face charges for violation of Article II of Republic Act (RA) 9165.
