Pinuno Party-list launches congressional bid in Bulacan

The Pinatatag na Ugnayan para sa mga Oportunidad sa Pabahay ng Masa (Pinuno) party-list on Tuesday, February 8, launched their congressional campaign together with Sen. Manuel “Lito” Lapid.

Pinuno Party-list first nominee Howard Guintu and third nominee Alexa Pastrana were joined by Lapid during their campaign launch and were warmly welcomed by residents of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

Lapid, an actor-turned politician, earned the moniker “Pinuno” after portraying the rebel leader in ABS-CBN’s action drama series Ang Probinsyano when he returned to the Senate in 2019.

The senator said he chose San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan as the venue for the launch because it serves as a reminder of his filming days.

The Pinuno Party-list, a civic, non-profit, and non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 2019, is pushing for affordable housing and livelihood programs.

According to Lapid, SJDM residents are among the many who benefitted from the programs provided by Pinuno Partylist.
