Health Secretary Francisco Duque III said that they are still crafting the fifth phase of the National Action Plan (NAP) which is on the shift to the new normal or moving from the pandemic to the endemic phase.
"You end the pandemic, at the same time you have learn to live with the virus because that's a reality of life. The virus is going to stay there," he said.
"But for as long as we have not reached our third and final milestone of 90 million and above Filipinos completely jabbed, we still have to be careful about discipline, compliance and and adherence to the Minimum Public Health Standards (MPHS) on the one hand and and increasing the vaccine trajectory on the other hand," he added.
