A solo bettor from Laguna bagged the P49.8-million Lotto 6/42 jackpot prize, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Sunday, Feb. 6, announced.
PCSO, in an advisory posted on its Facebook page, said the lone bettor has won a total jackpot prize of P49,813,434.40.
This is after the winner correctly guessed the winning combination 30 - 20 - 15 - 09 - 23 - 22 for Lotto 6/42 during the draw on Feb. 5.
The winning ticket, PCSO said, was bought in Bay, Laguna.
PCSO reminded the public that prizes that are above P10,000 will be subjected to 20 percent tax pursuant to the TRAIN Law.
Meanwhile, PCSO said that prizes that were not claimed within one year from the draw date will be considered “forfeited” based on Republic Act No. 1169.
