'KBP presidential forum allowed panelists to 'unburden' themselves' --- Locsin
Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. found it "unbelievable" that five presidential candidates for the upcoming polls had to endure waiting to be given "a minute of exposure" in a recent forum as more time was given to the panelists who were asking the questions.

Locsin made the statement after the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) held its presidential forum with five candidates on Friday.
The forum, which aired over KBP-member TV and radio stations and their online channels, had Vice President Leni Robredo, Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso, Senator Panfilo Lacson, Senator Manny Pacquiao, and labor leader Leody de Guzman answer questions thrown by panelists from different media organizations and members of the different KBP chapters across the country.
In a tweet, Locsin aired his disappointment and even tagged one of the forum hosts, journalist Karen Davila, saying the said event was "a first" because the forum appeared less about the presidential candidates.
"That was a first. The show—in terms of time allotted to talk interminably—was all the interviewing panelists who unburdened themselves rather than gave the candidates time to answer," Locsin said.
"In my time a show was all about the guests especially when one will be President," he added.
Unbelievable what candidates must endure for a minute of exposure. Even a flasher doesn’t have stand that long in the cold wearing only an overcoat to show his penis. https://t.co/x79EqWNs0I

Locsin, a veteran journalist himself, compared the presidential candidates to a "flasher".
"Unbelievable what candidates must endure for a minute of exposure. Even a flasher doesn’t have stand that long in the cold wearing only an overcoat to show his penis."
The country's top diplomat likewise reacted to Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s being a no-show in the forum.
He spared himself the agony of listening to panelists unburden themselves of all the weight they imagine carrying After all he is not a psychiatrist. https://t.co/kBT69PiSDZ

"He spared himself the agony of listening to panelists unburden themselves of all the weight they imagine carrying," Locsin said.
"After all, he is not a psychiatrist," he added.
The Marcos camp explained that the former senator was not able to participate in the event because of a conflict in his schedule. It was later on revealed that he was having an interview with journalist Korina Sanchez.
Sanchez, however, later on, clarified that it was the camp of Marcos that chose when the interview would take place and that her team did not have a choice.
