John Riel Casimero is pretty much welcomed in Cebu.

This as the reigning WBO bantamweight champion resumed training in Mandaue City's Villamor Gym for his world title defense against Paul Butler in Liverpool, England on April 23.
Renowned boxing coach and former boxer Edito "Ala" Villamor accepted Casimero in his gym as seen on his Facebook account and page.
The 31-year-old Casimero also posted a live training session via his Youtube channel Saturday, Feb. 5.
The WBO on late January approved to reschedule the Casimero-Butler bout after the Filipino champion failed to show up in their initial clash last November.
It turned out that Casimero suffered from viral gastritis and his camp also presented proof and medical certifications for authenticity, which prompted the boxing sanctioning body to declare him as its bantamweight champion still.
The Ormoc City native boxer last saw action with a split decision win against Cuban foe Guillermo Rigondeaux last August to improve at 31-4 record on top of 21 knockouts.
Butler, who is a former IBF bantamweight champion himself, for his part, will be taking on his fourth major world title bout against Casimero.
He holds a 33-2 record with 15 knockouts.
