The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) has been accredited as the Commission on Elections (Comelec) citizens arm in the May 2022 polls.

Angel Antonio, PPCRV Media Director, said they received the news about their accreditation last year.
Durng the 2019 polls, the group was also accredited by the poll body as its citizens arm.
PPCRV was tasked to help cleanse the voters list of illegal registrants; report to the commission violations on the conduct of the political campaign, election propaganda and electoral expenditures; exhort all registered voters in their respective areas to go to their polling places and cast their votes among others.
The group played a major role during and in-between election time by mobilizing its volunteers to man polling precincts in the country, helping safeguard the integrity of the ballots, ensuring a meaningful electoral process and campaigning non stop for voter's education and information on key issues.
Formed in October 1991, PPCRV is a parish-based association duly organized by and composed of civic minded citizens from various sectors.
